HISTORY OF FOOD & DRINK

Helen has a passion for food and drink and likes nothing better than experimenting with historical recipes and sharing the joy with other people. Helen (and Paul) can attend your event and demonstrate live cooking on an open fire or create and add the finishing touches to recipes inside a building. With all the pots, pans and gadgets, we can demonstrate the love of food and drink on both sides of the social spectrum.

Helen is covered by a Food Hygiene Certificate so should you like, visitors can sample the foods on offer. All foods produced come with a printed recipe sheet so visitors can see the ingredients included as well as take photos of the recipe to try for themselves at home.

Nothing is too much trouble, so should you have an event or idea in mind, Helen is happy to research and work to your needs. Previous examples of events Helen has attended have included a Cherry Festival where she demonstrated the use of cherries through history, as well as Apple Day, Asparagus Fayre and Plum Day to name just a few.
